Laboratory
The school has well-equipped laboratories to facility experimental work in various science. The following rules are to be observed in these laboratories.
1. Equipment for use in the laboratories will be issued to the student as per rules laid down by the principal.
2. No equipment is to be taken out of the laboratory without a written permission.
3. Any damages to the equipment during practical class will be borne by the students.
4. Any items issued from the laboratories must be returned before the commencement of the annual examination and a clearance certificate obtained from science teachers so as to enable the students to appear in the annual examination.
Computer Lab
1. Computer Education is compulsory for classes from Std. I to X.
2. A fully fledged computer laboratory has been established with sufficient number of computer sets and able teachers run the computer classes efficiently.
3. Computer education keeping pace with the latest trends in information technology is provided compulsorily to all the students well equipped computer centres with latest machine and software are the most resource houses and star of the school computer aided education [CAE] system has been ended to enhance the process of learning through multi way communication and interaction.
Library Rules
1. Books will be issued and returned as per rules framed by the librarian.
2. Books will be issued for a definite period of time.
3. Only one book may be issued at a time.
4. A late fine of 50 paisa per book will be charged daily until the book is returned.
5. The student should point out any damage to the books prior to getting them issued in his/her name otherwise he/she will be charged for the damage.
6. Tearing, writing, scribbling or folding of pages of books will be considered as damage done to books.
7. Student losing books or damaging them will be asked to pay the cost of the books.
All the library books issued to the students must be returned before the commencement of the annual examination and clearance slip must be obtained from the library to appear in examination.
Game and Sports
Games are compulsory for all students especially in proposed building which will including hockey, football, cricket, tennis basketball, volley ball, badminton and table tennis.
Pioneer Public School has both inter-house and inter-school competitions in cricket, soccer, basketball, badminton, track and field and other sports. Pioneer Public School also enters in some tournament competitions.
Music, Dance and Drama
About two-thirds of Pioneer Public School’s student participate in the instrumental music programme both Indian and western. Jazz Jam, Indian music Concerts, spring and fall concert series, Talent Show, and a major play each semester of year. Some pupil also put their own bands together to perform for various events.
Community services
Pioneer Public School has an active community service programme those involvers about 60% of the students in off-campus community service. The Projects range from tree planting and assisting the government with village environmental survey work, to volunteering in orphanages, village schools, hospitals, construction projects or literacy work, there is something for every interest.
Inter House competitions
The school is divided into four Houses that include all age groups. Students can win points for their houses. Azad, Gandhi, Shubhash and Tagore just by participating in anything from badminton to valley ball, at the end of year, A House cup is awarded to the house with highest number of points.
